PM-Example

Here's a fictional email exchange. Actual games have a much greater granularity and the emails exchanged are much longer, but the key aspect here is to model what emails come from whom and how the GM expresses to the system the different emails and NPCs being used.

Note that gm, p1 and p2 never receive an email from each other and their email addresses are kept private.

First is a bird's view of the game, then the exchanges from each. In the bird's eye it could be difficult to understand P2 action's but reading their separate emails they might make more sense.

The one further from you says "Hi, I'm Chuck"

I say "Hi Chuck, I'm Alice"

I look at him with suspicion and say "The name is Bob, just Bob"

Alice says "Hi Chuck, I'm Alice" while looking around with curiosity.
Bob looks to Chuck with suspicion and says "The name is Bob, just Bob"

There's a woorden board at the end of the bar that could be used as a weapon if you dislodge it. Do you want to do that now?

Alice leads the way, followed by Chuck, with Bob closing.
Somebody talks to Bob on the way out

Watch out of this Chuck guy, he's never up to any good

The only exit is passing Alice and Chuck

Alice sucker punches Chuck with the board and he falls motionless to the ground. She then turns and looks at Bob. Something is not right.

I attack Alice with the bottle!

You have no chance as Chuck begins to turn

Where Chuck fell, a growing mess of dark smoke and green tentacles raises, 3 meters in height. Its terrible smell reeks evil and upset. You both roll sanity.

Alice keeps her cool, but the situation is complicated as the monster is closing the path. Bob sobs in the ground, sucking his thumb.

I drag Bob back into the bar.

The bar is silent. The lights are off. You don't hear anybody but a slight chant coming from where you guess the bar used to be. The chant is ominous and grows in volume slightly.

I'm back to myself?

Yes you are. You woke up in the darkness, being dragged while a chant is sound in the background.

Do I still have the bottle? I use it to stab whomever is dragging me.

Bob wakes up and stabs Alice. She loses 2HP and screams badly, releasing Bob.
 The chant increases and you both see the bartender with a black hood.
